ENTREQ from Sweeden .... Well I started with a fairly simple system yesterday of a Vitus dac, entry Karan power amp and a set of Avalon idea. A pretty good sound. Rich, open and dimensional with plenty of rhythm and drive. But adding some Entreq grounding boxes and a couple of mains cables took it from the good to something VERY SPECIAL. I have to say I am massively impressed and the Entreq gear, in much the same was as the Highfidelity Cables products, teaches us in no uncertain terms that we should extract the best from our boxes before we move onto changing boxes again. In most instances there is so much more to come from our systems as we know them. Silver Tellus grounding, Konstantin and Challenger power cables and a decent Entreq usb cable. These are no brainers and will sell themselves by the bucket load. Lovely to look at, lovely to use and just a wonderful all round ethos and different from everything else on the market too. If you want pyrotehnics then look elsewhere but if you want focus, poise, calmness, stability, a huge drop in harshness and noise that you didnt previously realise was there, spookily black backgrounds and a portal to travel inside and emotionally experience the music from the inside outward then youll be handsomely rewarded.
