European leaders have not hidden that beyond economic problems, they would speak about the crisis in Ukraine and consult on the adoption of sanctions against the Russia. This agenda clearly reflects the doubt that hangs in Brussels: does raise the degree of confrontation with Moscow? (...) Policy the signing of an association agreement between the European Union and the Ukraine is planned March 21 but Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk said previously that no document of economic association would be ratified. According to him, this position is due to the fact that it should take into account concerns and fears about the negative consequences of free trade for industrial regions area, particularly East of the Ukraine. That was precisely the argument of the legitimately elected president, Viktor Yanukovich, to explain the refusal to sign an association agreement with Brussels. Then occurred the Maidan... And today Yatsenyuk took the same decision. But the West organizes any approach in this regard. The Maidan remains, too, silent. (...) Brussels politicians should listen to the opinion of the United States in the USSR (1987-1991) former Ambassador Jack Matlock, suggesting to grant the Ukrainian regions the same rights as the United States, and the Russian language the same status as Ukrainian.
