EQUIPMENT AND TOOL SALE MEMBERS ONLY BID The Jacobsburg Historical Society is selling off donated equipment and tools. The sale process will require the submission of sealed bids which will be opened in the presence of a bid committee. All items are sold in an “AS IS” condition and are available for inspection prior to bid submission. The Society retains the right to reject any and all bids that are submitted. E-mail to jacobsburg@rcn for a list of items being offered. Bid Submission: Mail your bid to PO Box 345, Nazareth, PA 18064 and mark the envelope with the notation EQUIPMENT BID on the mailing envelope. Bid Deadline: Friday, February 14, 2014. All bids will be date stamped and JHS is not responsible for bids delayed in the US Mail. ¬Inspection: Equipment and Tools can be inspected by appointment and must be arranged by contacting the JHS Office at 610-759-9029. Terms of Sale: Cash or check payable upon notification of successful bid. All items must be paid for and removed within 5 days of notification. Default: If a bidder defaults, the Society may, at its discretion, elect to award the item to the next highest bidder or remove the item from bidding.
