EUPOL hold an Iftar dinner for a senior CID General to discuss the ongoing strategic support of the CID by EUPOL experts. At this working dinner, there were discussions about three workshops designed by EUPOL under different themes such as the recording and reporting of crime incidents, the investigation process and managing intelligence and doing analysis in the CID. A series of presentations were shown that cover the three workshop themes. After the presentations, there were discussions on how EUPOL can build on the work that EUPOL has done to support the CID. General Pordili, the Head of Detections at CID Department of the Afghan Ministry of Interior agreed to discuss the idea of holding joint EUPOL and Afghan CID workshops with other CID officers.
