Job Location: Delegation of the European Union Amman - Jordan. Tasks will include: Financial initiating agent. Follow up on commitments, payment and recovery order initiation, budget regularisation and temporary budget lines management and proposal for regularisation. Responsible for the monthly closure of accounts and for the monthly financial reporting for the Head of Administration. Executing all banks reconciliation & controlling any discrepancies. Controlling bank balances for all currencies, by executing monthly replenishment requests & managing the internal transfers between accounts. Managing all accounts corrections & regularisations. Verifies that payments have been done by the authorised persons & that all the relevant signatures and supporting documents are in place. Delegations liaison officer for the social security dept. Back-up for Administrative Assistant and Assistant to the accounts. Verifying agent in the absence of the Administrative Assistant and the Head of Administration. Professional experience: The candidate must have a proven professional experience of at least 3 years in accounting and cash handling and good knowledge of computer applications. Excel and Word.
