EVERYBODY LOVES TEXAS JOKES – THE IMMORTAL PORPOISES For January 26th 2014 There was a group of Texas Marine scientists from Texas A&M studying sea life in Africa. Each morning they would go to the beach to study the creatures there. They soon made and amazing discovery. The porpoises inhabiting the area were able to live forever. The scientists were amazed and upon further study found that the reason for their achieving long life was that their diet consisted strictly of sea gulls. After a freak storm in the area the sea gull population suffered greatly and the porpoises were beginning to starve. The scientists decided to start gathering gulls from other areas to bring to the porpoises for them to feed. One morning on the way to the beach they passed through a valley and spotted a pride of stately lions sunning themselves. What were they to do? They waited for an hour or so until the lions were sleeping. The scientists then eased themselves through the valley and made their way back to the beach to feed the porpoises. After the feeding, they were set upon by the local park rangers and arrested. Do you know what the charge was? Here it comes again... steady... wait for it.... “Transporting gulls across stately lions for immortal porpoises.”
