EVERYONE - - Prayers, please, for Jim Kelly and his family!!! Former Quarterback for the Buffalo Bills of the NFL, the Houston Gamblers of the USFL, and the Miami Hurricane of the University of Miami. He is undergoing surgery and treatment for cancer for the second time in the last few months!! HE IS A CLASS ACT!!! One of my all-time favorite people!! He played one year with the Houston Gamblers of the USFL in 1984 and the Gamblers sponsored the Youth Football team that our son, Derek R. Forrest, played on!! Jim Kelly, along with several of the other Gamblers, would show up on Saturday mornings for the Little Gamblers game and stand on the sidelines with them, giving them pointers and encouragement!! Those little guys (and their parents) will forever be grateful and thankful that those outstanding professional players made time for our little team!!! What a class act!!!
