EVERYONE HAS A STORY Ive had a great response to my idea of doing a Humans in New York style story on one of our facebook friends once a week (just proves my Friday night wine is justified after all!). I cant wait to share all the stories. Trish was first to respond so here is her daughters story. Introducing Alli. Alli is 32 (next week) and suffers from an extremely rare progressive/degenerative conditon called Mucolipidosis. This is a cruel condition causing chronic pain and joint contractures, to our knowledge Alli is one of only 5 suffererers in Australia and less than 60 world wide. There is no cure nor treatment for this cruel condition. Having endured many many surgeries she continues to smile and loves life. Alli has travelled to Disneyland, Los Angeles, New Zealand, Gold Coast, Melbourne, Whitsundays. Unfortuantely now the condition has slowed her down a bit but last year she had an intrathecal pain pump inserted and is hoping to be able to enjoy many more adventures in the future x Alli was fortunate to be on A current affair 2 years ago for her dream day 30th birthday.
