EXAMINE YOUR PRAISE When you praise, is there a fire - TopicsExpress

EXAMINE YOUR PRAISE When you praise, is there a fire (fervent/hot) in your heart? As you look back on the great things God has done, the great things God is doing, and the great things God will do in your future, throw your hands up (submit and surrender) like you just been arrested and praise God as though you truly know who He is. Praise God like He has brought you through some stuff that He could get you to some even greater stuff. Before Christianity was turned into a religion and emotionalized (sensationalized) our intimate time with God, we were given a praise song book called “The Book of Psalm” full of songs, hymns and poetry. Apostle Paul and Salas were of the Jewish Covenant (Old Testament), which means they lived in the Jewish Old Covenant song book and the bible says they begin to sing hymns. They were not just making up stuff, for they had to make sure their praise lined up with the sworn Blood Covenant Promises of God that God and His holy angels would move with joy on their behalf. ‘Examine your praise” to make sure the words in your songs are not “cornbread, fish and collard greens,” but the immutable (unchanging) word of God. You too can experience the shackles of bondage falling off you and the prison doors called sickness and poverty blown wide open. Acts 16:25-26 New King James Version (NKJV) But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were loosed.
