Beldarian who was placed 2nd in the Ballyroan Stakes L.R. has produced 5 winners from 6 runners to date including the Australian Gr.1 winner Dariana and dual Gr.3 performer Macduff. Beldarian is out of the Epsom Oaks runner-up Sorbus who herself produced 5 black-type winners and is closely related to both Oasis Dream and Beat Hollow. Exceed And Excel who continues to go from strength to strength as a sire was responsible for 24 black-type winners in 2013 including Gr.1 Breeders Cup Juvenile turf winner Outstrip and Gr.1 Golden Slipper winner Overreach.
