The Karachi Jalsa is a game changer which represents the triumph of middle class morality over the medieval pull of JUI, the rural illiterate vote bank of the PPP, and the deeply funded smoke and mirrors of the PML (N). PTI pulled together hundreds of thousands without the organizational network in Karachi of an MQM or JI and without the Government mobilized trucks and buses of PML (N) -- on one issue only Go Nawaz Go. Such is the zeal of ordinary, educated people for change. They are no longer fooled by the chicanery and sophistry of PML (N), which sometimes calls the dharna Army sponsored, and a challenge to democracy, and sometimes dismisses it as a few thousand people, but always lives royally and always sucks taxpayer money into foreign bank accounts like a giant vacuum cleaner. The movement is now at a defining moment -- for people and their response to it: Either you are driven by fear or you are driven by hope.
