EXCLUSIVE: Judy Ann Santos welcomes the idea of Sharon Cuneta’s rumored return to ABS-CBN 10/07/2014 10:45 AM by: Maureen Marie Belmonte Teleserye Queen Judy Ann Santos is stoked over rumors that her showbiz ate, Megastar Sharon Cuneta might be coming back to ABS-CBN after announcing last August that she had already severed ties with TV5. Last month, the veteran actress and host hinted at a showbiz comeback and a project which, she says, is currently in the process of completion. In a recent interview with Judy Ann on the set of her baby game show Bet On Your Baby, the prized actress noted that, while she has yet to speak to her ate, this news only goes to show that Sharon only needed some time to think. “Kung ano man ‘yung project na ginagawa niya ngayon I’m really, really happy for her that she’s back and she’s more than ready to prove to everyone na binigyan lang niya ‘yung sarili niya [ng time] to think about what happened to her,” she said. If anything, Juday noted that Sharon “deserves” good projects because “she’s very professional and she’s a very good actress.” Since Sharon’s announcement, rumors began to swirl online that she will be returning to her mother network of 23 years after leaving in 2011. Although no confirmation from her camp has been released yet as to the matter, Juday said she is hoping for her to become a Kapamilya anew. “Of course, of course. She would always be a Kapamilya. Hindi naman nawala sa kanya ‘yun eh. Kumbaga poste na siya ng ABS, pader na siya ng ABS hindi na siya matitibag dito. Siyempre kung babalik ‘yung ate mo diba, eh di reunion ang saya saya. ‘Yun lang naman ang masaya sa lahat eh,” the host-actress said. Would she be open to working with Sharon should the latter return to the network? She replied laughing, “Oo naman, susmaryosep! Ako pa, ihahatag ko pa ang sarili ko sa project makasama ko lang siya uli.”
