EXE VALLEY TRIATHLON Exe Valley Leisure Centre, Tiverton NOVICE Triathlon 200m pool swim / 20km bike / 3km run Julia Gow Smith win the Exe Valley Triathlon (Novice Distance) It was Eve Bates and Julia Gow Smiths first Triathlon for Torbay Tri Club. 1st Julia Gow-Smith 1:02:51 6th Eve Bates 1:06:16 33 triathlete completed this triathlon SPRINT Triathlon 400m pool swim / 24 km bike ride / 5km run It was Franks first triathlon for Torbay Tri Club Cathy and Lee were both 4th in their age categories. 7th Lee Turner 1:09:41 30th Frank Reay 1:14:51 94th Catherine Parkinson 1:24:19 208th Sam Wyton 1:47:36 218 triathletes complete this triathlon THE IMMORTAL TRIATHLON The Immortal is a brand new Middle Distance triathlon, set in the glorious Stourhead National Trust estate. But dont be fooled, this is a tough and challenging event. Event started with a 1900m swim in the large lake, followed a by a beautiful and tough hilly 56 mile ride through the Wiltshire, Somerset and Dorset counties, before culminating in a 13.1 mile run! Patrick Roberts did his first triathlon for Torbay Tri Club a half ironman distance triathlon ‘The Immortal’ Event based at Stourhead on the Wiltshire / Somerset border. Patrick got off to a good start with a 29.36 for the 1.9k swim and a 2.46.08 for the 90k bike then Patrick found the heat 21c tough in the final stage on the half marathon - 21C heat, trail running on muddy hilly tracks through woods and a slightly long 23k route - 2.22.49. This was a TOUGH run (the winner did 1.40) Patrick was shattered at the end. He Finished 33rd overall and achieved a half ironman PB (5.46.40). .
