EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR JOB ANNOUNCEMENT Southwest Area Neighborhood Association, Inc. (SWAN) The Board of Directors of the Southwest Area Neighborhood Association, Inc. (SWAN) and Montgomery Neighborhood Center, Inc. is seeking a qualified candidate to lead both organizations. The Executive Director acts as chief administrator in the organization with overall responsibilities for leadership, planning, administration and management of staff and all programs and internal systems, and serves as a principal representative to stakeholders and the public. In this role, the Executive Director is responsible for all the areas of agency operation and policy implementation. The Executive Director is responsible to and serves at the pleasure of the Board of Directors, and guides the organization toward alignment with its mission and vision, in accordance with its policies and procedures. Applicant must possess at least a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or in a related field, or commensurate experience in human service non-profit management. Candidates with a Masters Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration or in a related field are preferred. Candidates without a Masters Degree must have at least five (5) years of management experience pertaining to non-profit and for-profit organizations.
