EXODUS 17:9 And Moses said unto Joshua: Choose us out men, and go out, fight with Amalek: to morrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the rod of God in mine hand. Moses called for a young leader named Joshua; and told him to Choose [Select some of their best men] to go out and fight with Amalek! Moses instructed Joshua to issue a call to arms to the Israelites, to fight the army of Amalek. Moses wanted Young Joshua to Have some men ready to attack the Amalekites The Very Next Day! Moses said, ...To morrow I will stand on the top of the hill; the very Hilltop itself...” I will station myself on the Crest of that hill Overlooking the Battlefield... Moses was going to OVERSEER The BATTLE From The HILLTOP of Prayer, Praise and Worship! Moses said, I will have the Rod of God in mine hand. I will have ...The shepherd’s Rod of God...God’s staff in my hand.” Im going to take This walking stick that has or represents the power of God.” The walking stick God gave me power to use.” “..I will be standing there with it...holding IT [extending IT; stretching IT out]. The Staff Elohim told me to take along with me.” You Remember back in the first chapters of Exodus when The Lord said to Moses, “What is that in your hand?” And Moses said, “A ROD.” Then God said to him “Cast it on the ground.” So he cast it on the ground, and it became a serpent; and Moses fled from it. Then the Lord said to Moses, “Reach out your hand and take it by the tail” (and he reached out his hand and caught it, and it became a rod in his hand)! The Lord told Moses this is “that they may believe that the Lord God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has appeared to you.” So then, the Rod that Moses is taking with him is the SAME ROD, that God has Empowered by His own Purpose! It The SAME ROD that Moses used at The Red Sea! The Lord said to Moses, “Why do you cry to Me? Tell the children of Israel to go forward. But lift up your rod, and stretch out your hand over the sea and divide it. And the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea. Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the Lord caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea into dry land, and the waters were divided. So the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea on the dry ground, and the waters were a wall to them on their right hand and on their left. Then the Lord said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand over the sea, that the waters may come back upon the Egyptians, on their chariots, and on their horsemen.” And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and when the morning appeared, the sea returned to its full depth, while the Egyptians were fleeing into it. So the Lord overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea. Then the waters returned and covered the chariots, the horsemen, and all the army of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them. Not so much as one of them remained. The ROD IN MOSES Hand is an extending EXTENSION of The Power, Plans and Purposes of The Lord in the Earth, Working Through The Man of God, Moses that Season! Elijah had a Mantle, David had a Sling in his Hand! Moses had a ROD! What THAT IN YOUR HAND! Bishop
