EXPECT A BLESSING Romans 8:28 28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Life has so many ups and downs, twists and turns that can leave us feeling some kind of way but God encourages us to look forward to each moment; each hour; each minute and every second that we are alive because no one was guaranteed to be here and no one is guaranteed to stay. When we arise each morning, we can wake up with yesterdays blues and troubled news or we can embrace our new day excited that it is filled with new opportunities; new blessings; new mercies and God’s grace. Jeremiah 29:11 11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Just as we expect things to go wrong, we should expect things to go right - WE SHOULD EXPECT A BLESSING. God said that His mercies are new each day that we rise and that His grace is sufficient for every day that we live; therefore, WE CAN, WE WILL, WE MUST EXPECT OUR BLESSINGS. Jesus came that we might have life and life more abundantly. What does this mean to you? It means that you should, you must LIVE EVERYDAY EXPECTING YOUR NEXT BLESSING; YOUR NEXT MIRACLE; YOUR NEXT BREAKTHROUGH and don’t stop expecting after you have received - KEEP ON EXPECTING ALL THE WAY TO GLORY. This is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it. No matter what the devil says, does or attempts to do, WHAT GOD HAS FOR YOU IS FOR YOU. The devil knows this and this is why he tries to catch us up early in the morning before we have time to embrace the goodness of God. When we arise early in the morning and spend time before God, He gives us reasons to rejoice; to believe; to expect the great things that He has for us. Jesus didn’t die so that we could live defeated in turmoil; sad, stressed or depressed. When He walked this earth, His expectations for us and Him were very high. He knew that what God had sent Him to do was and is the greatest blessing of all time and therefore, though He was sent to the slaughterhouse to be slain for us, the blessing in His trials, tests and tribulations was for the Glory of God and the welfare of man. Why is it so easy to expect the bad but not the good? Because, the world if filled with negative, unhappy, tired and tried people who have run out of hope and are now running on something other than what the bible has promised. The word says IF WE BELIEVE, WE SHALL RECEIVE; therefore, IF WE EXPECT A BLESSING, WE WILL RECEIVE THE BLESSING. GOD IS NOT A MAN THAT HE SHOULD LIE AND FAITH WITHOUT WORKS IS DEAD. No matter what state of being you have found yourself in RIGHT IN THIS MOMENT, GOD CAN CHANGE IT IN YOUR FAVOR - EXPECT A BLESSING. Don’t allow the enemy to make you think that you are anything other than blessed because you are not only blessed but, you are highly favored. Jesus didn’t have to die for us, HE DIDN’T AND AFTER THIS LIFE WE WOULD GO ON TO BURN IN HELL BUT, HALLELUJAH! God expected that we would have a change of heart if given the chance to get right so, He sent His only begotten Son to ensure we were afforded the chance to have an awesome and blessed life in Him and I refuse to waste any more of my precious time here on this earth - worried, perplexed and confused or even worse - FEELING ANYTHING LESS THAN BLESSED. Isaiah 40:31 31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. No matter what we go through or what circumstances we find ourselves in we must always remember, “IT COULD ALWAYS BE WORSE.” But God promises that He will never give you more than you can bear; therefore, expect your blessing. Once you have been brought to your lowest point in life, UP IS THE ONLY OTHER DIRECTION THAT YOU CAN GO IN. God wants to prosper you but you must expect Him to do so. “Faith without works is dead.” I challenge you this day to EXPECT A BLESSING, EXPECT A MIRACLE, EXPECT YOUR BREAKTHROUGH AND THEN WALK IN THE REALITY OF IT - SPIRITUALLY. Take your negative experiences and turn them into a positive opportunity for God to show up and show out JUST FOR YOU. Yesterday is history, Tomorrow is a mystery - EXPECT YOUR BLESSINGS, YOUR BREAKTHROUGH TODAY. What you confess, you possess? What are you confessing and what are you possessing as a result of it? I am expecting God to work every problem, issue, circumstance or situation out in my life IN MY FAVOR. I am expecting my children to remain SAVED, SANCTIFIED, AND HOLY GHOST FILLED. I am expecting to have everything that God has promised to me whether in prophecy or vision. I am expecting to leave a mark on history in Jesus. II expect that God will keep my family and friends in safe and in His perfect will in spite of. I am expecting to grow and go faster and further than I have ever before. I am expecting an increase in my finances; in my spiritual walk with God, in my physical and emotional being. I am expecting to have more than enough of everything I need to not only take care of me and mine but, to bless all whom God has said bless and I won’t stop until I have RECOVERED IT ALL and dispensed it as such according to His will and plan for my life. I am expecting your spirit to be awaken and rejuvenated by this word. I am expecting your fight, your wait, your hope to return because God is expecting you to win. Father God, help us to enter each day with GREAT EXPECTATIONS FOR OUR LIVES AND THE LIVES OF THOSE WHOM WE SAY THAT WE KNOW AND LOVE. Help us to keep our eyes focused on the prize that is Christ Jesus. Help us to work diligently and patiently while we await your blessings from on high. Help us to not become discouraged but to remain encouraged knowing that “ALL THING WORKS TOGETHER FOR THE GOOD, FOR THOSE WHO ARE CALLED ACCORDING TO GOD’S PURPOSE. Help us not to faint; not to lose hope or heart. Help us to trust you, even when we can not trust ourselves or others. Give us the strength to fight a good fight and to run a diligent race; knowing that it is well with our souls and that, “EVERYTHING THE DEVIL MEANT TO HURT US OR HARM US WITH HAS ALREADY BEEN WORKED OUT FOR OUR GOOD, because the bible tells us so, in Jesus Name, I pray, Amen. If God has called you, He will bless you. If God keeps you, He will bless you. Anything that God does is meant to take us higher in Him; therefore, EXPECT YOUR BLESSINGS AND LET GOD WORK EVERYTHING OUT ACCORDINGLY.
