EXTENDED DEADLINE FOR OPEN CALL FOR CURATORIAL PROPOSALS: PHILIPPINE PARTICIPATION IN THE 56TH VENICE BIENNALE 2015 28 August 2014 - The Philippine Art Venice Biennale Coordinating Committee has announced that the deadline for accepting curatorial proposals will be extended until the 3rd of September at 12 midnight. Curators and artists have another week to finalize their proposal to be submitted to the Coordinating Committee via email [email protected]. The Philippine Participation in the Venice Biennale 2015 has been made possible because of the inter-agency efforts of the Department of Foreign Affairs and the National Commission for Culture and the Arts, in partnership with the Office of Senator Loren Legarda. Last July 25, the Coordinating Committee released an open call for curatorial proposals with a deadline set on August 28, and this has been extended to give more curators and artists from all over the country the opportunity to participate. Filipino citizen 2. has curated international contemporary art exhibitions 3. has sufficient grasp of the issues in contemporary art Qualifications of Artists 1.
