freedom like capitalism?? you know, the concept of freedom becomes a sad joke when a so-called economic system (like capitalism) fails at doing what an economy should do: provide everyone with what they need and want, without taking more from nature than it can sustain. capitalism fails so utterly, miserably and violently at this basic function of an economy, that calling it freedom is like spitting in the faces of the billions of people whose needs arent fulfilled because of the inherent inequality and structural violence of capitalism.
