EZ guys…. Sacha Christophe s birthday was last Monday.. the first day of Burning Man… he always told me he wanted to go and take a look to see what it was all about (and probably take the piss out of a few pseudo hippies), but his body would never let him (god he would have had a list of complaints), so we put together a package of photos and cards that flew to the states with Kimi ONeill to be pinned to the Temple of Remembrance so Sach could find his look out point to take in the delights of BM. Now you may have read there was so much rain on the playa at Burning Man on Monday (Sacha’s birthday) they had to shut the gates… as Alice Palace pointed out Sacha was probably chuckling, all those carefully planned outfits ruined by a drop of rainin the desert… but more than anything it convinced me he has gone there for his birthday party… as even in his flying angel suitcase he is far more likely to have packed water proof, practical, clothing than an ‘outrageous’ feathered headdress. I know we all miss him so much… and if you haven’t already seen the posts.. I wanted to bring attention to the fact thatSachas lovely Mama, siblings and many of his friends are doing an amazing walk on 26th September in Richmond Park to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust… so the little ones and the big ones with CF now won’t have to slip away as early as our beautiful Sachabelle did. So if you have a spare fiver or a tenner or more please donate.. the ice bucket challenge has had enough attention! Even if you have already donated, or can’t afford to right now – it would be great if you could ‘like’ this post as the longer we can have it bouncing around the ether for the more people might spot it when the time is right to give some money..
