Each Hebrew seventh year (Sabbath year) brings either prosperity or judgment (cancelling of all debt) . During the 80s and 90s we began, as a nation, turning away from God. We kicked him out of our schools and public buildings. So, God is punishing us every sevens years. God is now judging us as a nation. The first was 9/11 and we saw the stock market crash. In defiance to God, our government proclaimed that we will rebuild on Ground Zero a tower that is the tallest in the world. Seven biblical years later, in 2008, the stock market crashed and home foreclosures crashed the economy. Many bailouts occurred in an attempt to save the economy. The start of the next Sabbath begins in September 2015. We are defying and denouncing God in our lives as the Jews did several thousand years ago. They pulled away from God, ignored his requirements to let the land rest on the Seventh year. They stopped worshiping God and He dropped the protection, allowing the Assyrians to raid their land. This was foretold by an ancient prophet in Isaiah 9:10 and 9:11. Does this same prophecy apply to America, which has lost Gods protection and favor? Is Isaiah prophecy apply to us?
