Each year the National Disability Awards are held to celebrate the achievements of people with disability and to recognise those who have provided them opportunities to participate in all aspects of community life. Nominations have now opened for the 2013 Awards! There are a number of categories within the awards. Last year, Geoffrey Warren, Principal of Clifton Hill Primary School, was recognised for his extraordinary leadership and inclusive educational practices that he has embedded across every aspect of school life. Every child is embraced as part of the school and wider community, and the judges applauded Geoffrey’s dedication to creating a collaborative culture.
