Earlier this evening we were contacted by a local shelter asking if we could help with a dog that had just arrived in bad shape. They suspect he was either attacked by other dogs or possibly used as bait, as theyve had several in the area. He has bite wounds on his face, neck, and at least one leg. He is also limping and the leg with the puncture wounds is very swollen. Despite his condition, he still dragged himself over to a shelter employee to give her a kiss. This dear little guy is estimated to be only 6 months old:(. The thought of leaving him there suffering overnight wasnt an option so we picked him up and he is on his way to one of our vets right now. We will have an update later tonight.
