Earlier this morning, my friend Ray Lockman and I were having a chat about how it would be an important symbolic gesture for the pilots and crew of MAS to bear the Malaysian flag and lead our athletes as they march into Celtic Park, Glasgow, for the opening ceremony of the 2014 Commonwealth Games on 23 July. At the moment, for those of us at home and the rest of the world, Malaysia is MAS and MAS is Malaysia. What happened to #MH17 isnt just a Malaysian tragedy but an international one. With so many nations losing their sons and daughters, what better way to pay tribute than to come together at an event that is supposed to symbolise the best in humanity. Strength. Pride.
