Earlier this week, I received an email from Imanuel Goncalves who shared with me a very inspiring film he produced called Four Chambers. Its about 40 minutes long, but he has broken it down into 4 separate films as well. This portion is about 7 minutes in length and it shares part of Dr. Ben Carsons story. Dr. Carson overcame poverty and growing up in tenements, to become one of the worlds leading neurosurgeons. He was the first doctor to successfully separate conjoined twins who were joined at the head. He has an incredible list of accomplishments that prove with Gods help and hard work, anything is possible. (For those who dont know, Dr. Carson, has decided to run for President in 2016). This short movie also shares the story of a young girl whose mother has Epilepsy and she wrote a book for kids to help them understand what to do if they have a relative with Epilepsy. I know I have many friends who are teachers and a few librarians as well. I think you will especially appreciate this short film as it talks about the power of the brain, our thoughts and ideas and how reading can open up new worlds and ideas and help us to reach our full potential. youtube/watch?v=nmNP5Z0Info...
