Earlier this week we had a huge outpouring of love for Desiree and her rescue Pitiful Paws Rescue in West Virginia. The organization had to make some really hard decisions that were heartbreaking and our fans stepped up and wrote very kind messages on their wall. On Wednesday, they took in a elderbull they named Hazel (photographed with her cone of shame). Desiree said, She has quite a few fatty tumors that need to be removed, and she has a granuloma on her leg where she has gnawed and licked at an old break. They will remove the tumors when they spay her, and we will start laser therapy on the leg once shes healed up a little. Shes also on meds for that and tapeworms. Shes SO sweet! From all the dogs pictured here their outstanding bill with the vet is $2600. In order to help the most needy they count on donations. With a good majority of West Virginia residents hating pit bulls its hard to get the adequate funds raised in their community.
