Earlier today I posted this ........ God is working in wonderous ways . Several people questioned what was going on, and I said I would post about an experience I had on Saturday. Saturday, as I prepared for a nail appointment, I made a special point to look for a lid with a straw to cover my Diet Coke. Less than 1/2 mile from home I reached for my drink and the lid came off the drink, spilling all over me and the floor of my car. Literally, I said outloud, okay God.. obviously you dont want me to go now, perhaps you are saving me from an accident as I turned around to return home. After a clothes change, cleaning the car interior and preparing another Diet Coke (this time with my normal lid that slides open), off I went again. I had prepared the drink to have with me as I relaxed. getting pedicure before my nail appt. Needless to say, by the time I got redressed and there, it was almost time for my manicure appt. Time for my relaxing pedicure I thought. I was so looking forward to relaxing and reading a new book. The female owner of the shop started my pedicure, and we began talking. The lady in the pedicure chair next to me, joined in our conversation. It was obvious she was a neighbor to the owner of the shop, and we kind of had a 3 person conversation. My pedicure was completed and she said to me, you are welcome to sit here and talk if you like, just be sure you stay at least 10-15 minutes. Sure, I would like that I replied. I felt as if this lady and I were put there together, for a very specific reason. As we talked about our lives, she asked how many children I had. Needless to say, I shared our family story of having 2 children & 3 grandsons, but the fact that we lost a son over 10 years ago. As we continued talking, I became aware that she worked for an aunt of Brian and Scott Ponders friend, Noel Lee, who ironically was the person who came upon the crime scene of Superbike Motorsports Quadruple Murder. As we continued to talk about lifes events since then, she asked me how do you keep on going after this ? Im sure my John Edward Evolve friends wont be surprised by my answer. I encountered a Psychic Medium by the name of John Edward, a year after losing Brian. My son has came through JE multiple times through the years and Ive learned so much from his teachings, that I have peace in my heart. I know Brian is Happy, Healthy, with his Lord and loved ones, yet constantly with us and watching out for all his family and friends. She went on to tell me a story of a good friend of hers that was read by John Edward in NY and she was aware of his lifes work. When she told me her friends encounter with JE it touched my heart, as my story did hers. I told her I would love to talk with her friend and gave her my contact information to share with her friend. By this time we were outside talking about how we truly felt we were suppose to meet and share our lifes story. She went on to tell me that she just lost her father 6 months ago. I told her about John Edwards July 15th event in Charlotte and asked if she and her friend would like to go. She became a little emotional and explained a more personal story ... and it became quickly apparent yet another reason, we met and connected. Lifes common denominators once again ..... I hope that perhaps some of what I have learned in the past 10 years, may help her in deal in lifes situations. I know that GOOD CAN COME FROM BAD..... Ive experienced it for myself. Encountering, meeting, forming new friendships, helping comfort, listen or render some of the lessons Ive learned the hard way, is my ultimate GOAL IN LIFE. Im hoping my new friend (who lives very close by) and her friend will be joining me and my family at EVOLVE WITH JOHN EDWARD IN CHARLOTTE IN 2 WEEKS. Everything happens for a reason........ The delay in arriving at the nail salon, placed me in the seat next to her for a pedicure, AFTER MY MANICURE. AGAIN....THANK YOU LORD, I GET IT !!!
