Early this morning I posted a wonderful article from The Telegraph, a UK paper on Bruce Springsteens 65th birthday. As my sister pointed out the only misprint was suggesting 65 is middle age VS old age. If I live to 130 Ill no longer question that. Its a well crafted and somewhat personal article but a must read. So many GREAT songs and so many GREAT concert memories but Ill steal this one from the author. That album has been described as Springsteen’s most political record, but listening to it I heard something else. Bring on your wrecking ball, Springsteen sings. The wrecking ball could be an employer, a former lover or maybe time itself. I listened to that song and it made me feel better and it got me off the floor.
