Earnestly requesting the Oriental Mindoro Electric Cooperative (ORMECO) at Sta. Isabel, Calapan City, through its Board President, Mr. Audel Arago, to favorably consider the hiring of at least two (2) additional linemen to be permanently detailed here in Bulalacao, Oriental Mindoro Whereas, ORMECO District VII has only seven (7) linemen rendering services to the municipalities of Roxas, Mansalay, and Bulalacao covering 17, 988 connections or 16, 846 membership as reflected in 2013 ORMECO Annual Report; Whereas, this statistics may lead one to think that it will take a significant length of time before usual technical, connection, and reconnection problems can be acted upon, and it is quite alarming especially during emergency situation that endangers life, limb and property; Whereas, the detail of at least two (2) linemen in this municipality will significantly facilitate response to emergency calls and reconnections thereby preventing longer power interruption that disrupts commerce, different industries, and most importantly the delivery of basic services to the poorest of the poor; Whereas, this request, if favorably acted upon, will stimulate further local economic growth and improve poverty alleviation efforts hence moving faster towards the achievement of the vision Beautiful and Bountiful Bulalacao As introduced by this representation....
