Easter is a lot happier right now for me and other Flyers fans as the team came back from a 2-0 deficit to win 4-2 at MSG where the Flyers havent won since February 2011. The series is now tied at 1 and goes to Philadelphia for 2 games. Marty St. Louis who came over to the Rangers at the trade deadline and has had a hard time getting any goals, scored the first goal of the day 4 min. into the game. The Rangers then went on their 2nd powerplay and scored to make it 2-0. At 14:14, the Flyers top line which has Giroux being held shotless had Voracek storm in and take things for himself to get the goal to cut the score in half. In the second period, the Rookie, Akeson, who took the 4 min double minor in Game 1 that was the turnaround to the Flyers demise, made up for things scoring the tie up goal early in the period. Then at 11:18, from one of the most unlikely people and Philly fan scapegoat, defenseman Luke Schenn pinches in and becomes part of the play and scores the game winning goal. In the 3rd, Philly plays well defensively and at the end with enormous effort getting around Ranger players in his own end to get the puck out of the zone and then while continuing to be pressured and checked, Simmonds some how gets the empty netter shot off and in. Flyers win! Series tied! Game 3 in Philly Tues. night.
