Eat the good of the land! If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it. Isaiah 1:19,20. Gods plan for you is good! Every land has good in store. The heritage from God in the city where you dwell is good things. The good of the land is for all but only accessible to some; the willing and obedient. While driving past a three storey building under construction some years ago, my fathers instinct as a civil engineer came alive and he said this house will soon collapse. I was warned not to walk close to the construction site. As a layperson, i couldnt understand the rationale for those words. Two days later, my dad was asked to take over the construction site as some walls at the ground floor were already buckling under the weight of the structure. He declined the offer but showed them the structural defects that needed to be corrected to salvage the building. As I write, the building is still standing over two decades after. If an engineer can judge a building by construction laws, Gods laws could be applied to correct the structural mistakes in many lives. A mistake in the past can still be corrected by divine insight. The secrets of God could make or mar the outcome of any life. When willingly obeyed, good is the reward; when refused and rebelled against, destruction is inevitable. No matter how high you have built before deviating from the plan, the end will be a collapse. Your end is just a choice away! Choose good, choose God. Gods instructions corrects structural errors in the lives of men to make good happen in their lives. Divine direction guides to the reservoir of good, dont miss it for anything. Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness Isaiah 55:2. Good is cheap and easier when it is tied to his direction. The price of refusal and rebellion is too enormous for consideration. Escape the pain and sorrow of a collapsed life. Escape the frustration, disappointment and confusion that follows a fall. Good is near you, if only you will listen to him. Today, good things will begin to greet you on the way! You will no longer be a specimen of failure. Build a failure proof life, follow his directions.
