A tendency to attack the Bible and claim that it is historically inaccurate became very prominent in the last three centuries under the leadership of theological radicals, Many of these radicals were not even born-again, let alone have any respect for the Bible. What they had on hand was university degrees to show off and government funds to propagate their attack against the Bible. One of the arguments they brought against the first five books of the Bible is that Moses could not have authored these books because the art of writing was not known at his time. Then in 1970s archeologists discovered around 16,000 or more baked clay tablets (a whole library) at Ebla in Syria region which were 1000 years older than Moses. What is more, some of those tablets claimed to be copies of inscriptions older by another 1000 years. In summary, writing was known at least 2000 years before the time of Moses.
