Ebola. I have been very concerned about Alaskas readiness for this hemorrhagic disease. As a nurse, I am concerned about the safety of my professional colleagues, who are the front line caregivers. So I have been inquiring of the Alaska Nurses Association, the hospitals and our Division of Public Health. I am encouraged to hear that staff training and protocols are being rolled out early next week. Governor Parnell called a press conference on the States preparedness this morning, which I attended.
