Ebola and Americas hypocrisy (2) -Adebayo Rasheed Mabayoje Why would the US hasten to throw bumbs, send troops to kill people they term as enemies to its interest; turning its face the other way while Ebola kills Africans? I raised the hypocrisy issue some weeks back when the news broke that some Americans were contracting the Ebola desease. Today, America is running the poles; devastated by the fact that the desease has found a place on the US soil. America feign concern about how Ebola was killing Africans in multitudes- pretending that it is sending aids and all. How many American personnel have physically taken part in containing the spread of this overwhealming desease Africa, especially in Liberia, a former colony? Today, my concern is being shared by some Africans- “While the United States send troops to kill people around the world, Cuba sends doctors to the rest of the world to save lives,”- Femi Falana, speaking yesterday on Ebola and how rich countries have responded so far.
