Ecclesiastes 5:1-6 Keep thy foot when thou goest to the House of God, and be more ready to hear, than to give the sacrifice of fools; for they consider not that they do evil. Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart be hasty to utter any thing before God; for God is in heaven, and thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few. For a dream cometh through the multitude of business; and a fools voice is known by multitude of words. When thou vowest a vow unto God, defer not to pay it; for He hath no pleasure in fools: pay that which thou hast vowed. Better is it that thou Shouldest not vow, than that thou Shouldest vow and not pay. Suffer not thy mouth to cause thy flesh to sin; neither say thou before the angel, that it was an error: wherefore should God be angry at thy voice, and destroy the work of thy hands? Tell me....what is the one vow that people go in the House of God and make before multiple witnesses? MARRIAGE VOWS! How many people have stood in the House of God and vowed til death do us part, and went back on their vow to God? Should these versus not have been thoroughly explained by the minister who married these people to the people he married? What if it is not Gods will for the two individual to be together for the rest of their lives? Is God obligated to bless you when you are NOT doing His will? See no one wants to talk about this, do they? So you make this vow to God in Gods house before multiple witnesses, but as soon as you have an argument, youre in court filing papers asking man to cancel out the vow you made to God? Dont you think you need to hit your knees and talk to God about this? Dont you think people need to ask God if its His will for them to be together for the rest of their lives before you make that type of promise to Him? Think about it....there are men who want to make vows to be with other men til death do they part, women who want to make vows with another woman til death do they part? And Christians who call themselves Christians who think this is alright with God?! And we have nerve to wonder why sickness, disease, drug addictions, homelessness, molestation, hatred and murder is at an alarming rate?! We got some serious house cleaning to do! God bless...
