EcoWEB continues to support for more assistance to the areas affected by super typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan) in Central Philippines. In Brgy. Caputatan, Medillin of North Cebu, through the help of the partner organizations and other individual donors distributed 3 sewing machines as initial intervention for restoring their livelihood. The turn-over of the sewing machines was made possible through the effort of Mrs. Dinah Craven who donated it for helping typhoon victims restart their livelihoods. According to the Brgy. Captain of Caputatan, So far our barangay were very thankful for the continued support and assistance that we are receiving from relief goods to housing rehabilitation and livelihood support but, many of the household in the community still need urgent assistance to rebuild their lives and livelihoods. As EcoWEBs commitment to the community is to continue to convince donors for more resources and support. Thus, continue to forge stronger relationship and linkages with both private sectors and individuals which continues to look for ways to support communities in rebuilding peoples lives.
