Edinburgh Fringe - yesterday afternoon - great lecture by George Monbiot on Rewilding, followed by seven hour drive to Luton. Now in Sinca Noua in the Carpathians, after a long drive up from Bucharest. Midnight here, crickets singing, stars winking out as thunderclouds gather and two days of filming with the helicopter commences tomorrow morning. Fingers crossed for blue skies as a big chunk of our budget is at stake if rain stops play.
