Edited highlights - more to come shortly with speeches. Remember Nelson Mandela Concert. On July 18th, the birth date of Nelson Mandela, I organised a major concert at Londons legendary Roundhouse,to celebrate Mandelas life and legacy and announce our plans for the Blue Sky Village. A fabulous dinner was followed by my many artist friends performing their hits. The stars who performed included the fabulous Heather Small, Kenney Jones, formerly of the Who and Rod Stewarts Faces, and friends who included, Paul Young. Gospel stars Sandra Godley and Jermaine Jackman, winner BBCs Voice 2014 also gave sensational performances as did Royal Ballet principle dancer Fernando Montana, he recently performed in Colombia for Prince Charles and Camila. Fernandos Mandela themed dance piece was sensational! Many of the stars who performed will be coming to Sri Lanka in 2015 for the Blue Sky Village Wold Music Extravaganza in 2015. A big thanks to my beautiful friend Kate Hallam, who is to play Eva Schloss in the Sri Lanka, India production of The Anne Frank/Eva Schloss Story, for acting as presenter for the evening.
