Edmunston House, near Candy Mill, Biggar. A beautiful residential property. Managed to get a few pictures of the roof line, and a cracking picture of the inside of the turret on the south east corner. A nice bit of graffiti there too! The last picture is a ruin on the grounds, according to one of the residents on the estate, it was a baronial tower, and some of the stones from it were used to restore the main house. As far as I know, there is only one other house in Scotland with a similar construction. The four corners are the main supports, and the rest of the building is suspended on them, and the roof is slightly curved, due to the it holding the whole building together! Im not a civil engineer or architect, so doubtless someone could back it up for me!
