Edwinstowe Council Chairman Lied in her statement to the police when she pressed charges against a disabled pensioner who expressed his disgust at her dictatorship with a Nazi salute. Recordings and 48 over 20 witnesses can testify that many of the things she put in her statement were not only untrue but the man in question was not physically able to perform in the manner she claims. He appeared in court on the basis of her claims and she was awarded £100 compensation whilst the public purse took a hammering because of the case being heard under the legal aid system. The man is not able to march, and cannot put his feet together because of severe disability, and his congestive heart failure left him unable to shout in the manner she claimed. After the meeting the man was accosted by two councillors and one of their friends whilst he sat on his mobility scooter in the car park. He had left the room after the incident and sat waiting for his friends to emerge. One of the Councillors physically assaulted him but all three yelled abuse at him to the point where a retired GP who is and ex curate of the village thought he would have to intervene and is willing to act as a witness. The man did not bother to report these incidents as he felt the police had better things to do that chase petty arguments like this.
