Effective Supplements to use for pre workouts (caffeine, beta alanine etc) that can safely be taken while a women is breastfeeding, what do you all got? Caffeine and creatine would seem like perfectly fine choices but curious if beta alanine is ok or if there are any others? I see a lot of women ask (and I myself am curious) as its really difficult to get the energy to work out while taking care of a baby full time. I am aware that the proper response to this is going to be ask your doctor, however, from my experience the OBs dont have enough knowledge of this subject matter and will automatically say dont take anything to be on the safe side (which I do understand but its not very helpful.) Can anyone offer any insight?
