Effectiveness of ECHS & Brig Nawnit Kumar,SM, DY MD ECHS Brig Goswami (Retd) from 3 JAK RIF is admitted in the ICU of Metro Hospital Noida as ECHS patient in serious respiratory condition. Dr Deepak Talwar attending him has desired injecting him with 4 ZOLO injections as no other medicine is acting on him. Since each injection is over Rs 35,000, ECHS Noida has to take sanction to procure them. I got a call from my co-brother Col Sachdeva of the same Bn from the US around 8.30 pm for helping out the ailing Brig from his Bn. I immediately rang Brig Nawnit Kumar, SM , Dy MD, ECHS from our Regiment. As an utter pleasant surprise, Brig Nawnit rang me back within half an hour that the Metro Hospital, Noida have been instructed to issue the injections forthwith. Also Col Sen ,OIC Noida ECHS has been directed to expedite delivery of costly life saving injections. I informed the worried family immediately. I must thank ECHS & Brig Nawnit Kumar, SM for the prompt action to help a genuine emergency case and life saving during odd hours. We wish him to Keep doing the good job.
