Eggnog is settling into her new foster home and obviously having a blast with her foster sister and brother! Eggnog is a female shepherd mix puppy who came to us on an emergent basis from our local animal control when she presented with a huge fluid filled seroma on the top of her head. Due to the size and location of the seroma and the fact that her fontanel was completely open, there was some concern that she may have been a hydrocephallic. After bloodwork, ultrasound, and a few weeks of observation for neurological deficits, Eggnog has been cleared by our vet for adoption! Her seroma has completely disappeared and was likely caused by some sort of trauma rather than a chronic condition. Eggnog is a beautiful little gal and will likely only be 30-40 lbs when full grown. The perfect size for just about any family! She has begun house training in her foster home and is being raised with other dogs in the home as well as a 2 year old boy!
