Eggplant - quite possibly the nastiest food on the planet. This is a true story. When I was born, both of my parents loved Eggplant. They both worked as a team to try and make me love Eggplant... But I hated it, I spit it out as a baby. But my parents did not give up. I was a pretty good kid. I ate everything they gave me, accept Eggplant. They took that as a challenge and spent the rest of my childhood trying to make me eat Eggplant. They would dice it up and put it in my spaghetti and lasagna sauce. They would put cheese on it. One time they even cut it up and fried it to look like French Fries. No matter what they did. I still hated it. They finally gave up when I was 13. Then about 15 years ago, they had Eggplant on sale and a nice recipe. So I bought some and cooked it on my own. I still hated it. But Now... after all of these years... They had Baby Eggplant on sale. And I bought it again. I cooked it with a nice cheese/garlic sauce with fresh tomatoes and Basil... And it still sucks!!! I fed it to my Chickens and Goats. I still Hate Eggplant !!! Keep that stuff away from me. It makes me have bad dreams.
