My Mom gave me the #12....so here I go, 12 things you may not know about me.... 1. I didnt go to Kindergarten straight to first grade. 2. When I was 9 I got into a fight with my sister while we were being interviewed on the radio. My mom was sitting in her car, heard the whole thing and we were in BIG trouble. 3. My best friend hit me in the head with her softball bat while we were practising hitting. She kept telling the coaches I was too close, they said I was fine...then WHAM...suffered a concussion and stitches...you can feel the crack in my skull. 4. My family roots have been traced and Pocahontas is my Great Great Something Great Grandmother. 5. I worked at Brentwood Country Club when I lived in Nashville. We were closed on Mondays but I went in to decorate for Christmas. I was there by myself so I started singing Christmas songs way too loudly....only to turn around and see Vince Gill standing in the door way watching me. Huge embarrassment. 6. I got paddled in first grade for telling my teacher to Wait a minute 7. I was a Poli Sci major at IU...heard President Bush (Sr) was going to be in Indy...told a tiny fib to the Secret Service and found myself sitting with the press and spending the day with the President, his staff and the press. 8. I lived in California for a year and bartended on yachts that sailed around Newport Beach. 9. I was in a bank robbery. Ski masks still terrify me. 10. I married a man who is the exact opposite of me and when we argue and cant find middle ground we remind each other we both hate watermelon and love dark chocolate. 11. I secretly wish I could be a stay at home mom that cooks great meals. 12. I cherish the memory of my dads last words being I did it.... Like my status and I will give you a number.
