Ego is that little negative voice that is in your head trying to pick a fight with others, needing to be justified, putting yourself down, wanting to be fed with addictions that are toxic to our spirit. It makes you want that donut when you are on a diet. It makes you want to spend money when you feel down and out. Ego is always there. The good news is you can silence it once you are aware. Dont allow the ego to win, even if you have had a set-back (which we all do). The ego will beat you up for allowing it to win. Funny how that works. Guilt and resentment are ego too. Be free of ego by affirming with me, I am so thankful now that my ego is silent. When ego is silent you can go about your day hearing your higher-self. Your higher-self is who you really are. Your higher-self seeks understanding of others. Your higher-self already feels accepted and doesnt seek acceptance from others. Your higher-self loves who you are and doesnt search for things to feel loved. Your higher-self knows no anger, guilt, resentment, frustration, or hate. Your higher-self only wants to forgive others and doesnt wait for forgiveness because it already know God has forgiven. Be free my friends and know that we are human and have an ego but it can be controlled. Let your higher-self SHINE! HAPPY SUNDAY my friends!! Amy
