Egomaniac Ideologies like the Koch brothers, there are many more, like to be in the media spotlight and welcome the disapproval of those they consider inferior to their lofty station. The peons spend their time and energy throwing little temper tantrums about those who provide a smoke screen for their betters. The true Oligarchs who could give a damn who is elected to Congress or the Presidency. They spend their money wisely buying the few votes needed from members of key committees in the House, and Senate. They could care less what party is in power, money has always overcome that concern. If by chance money can not buy a vote, they turn the media on that person, and destroy their credibility. If their FBI, and CIA can not find any dirt they can easily manufacture the news story. bp
