Eight seniors from Union High School have been named 2014 National Merit Semifinalists. Principal Gart Morris made the announcement today as he and administrators congratulated the students. The number of semifinalists at Union is among the highest in the area, Morris said, and he encouraged the students to continue participating in the program to become National Merit Scholars.
