Eight things about my pregnancy with Anthony Joseph Ficher: (Be cautious if you like or comment you get a number and have to do the same! ) 1. When I found out I was pregnant, I burst out hysterically laughing and starting dancing with our yellow lab in the living room, jumping up and down before I told anyone else. 2. Tony and I promised not to tell anyone for the first trimester, given my condition, but when I went into the bank two days later, he told all of the tellers already. Then when I questioned him, he gave me a list of about 20 more people he had already told, so then we decided to tell everyone. It was clear he couldnt keep a secret. 3. My favorite part of the gender reveal ultrasound was the look on Tonys face when the tech said, its a boy. It will forever be instilled in my head, truly priceless. 4. I was put on bedrest for almost 6 weeks before he was born due to preeclampsia and was induced at 37.5 weeks, so very scary. 5. Anthony weighed only 5lbs and hadnt grown in over 4 weeks but the Drs didnt know why. When he was three weeks old we were admitted to Childrens hospital in Boston where he was diagnosed with pyloric stenosis and had three surgeries in a two week span of time. 6. Labor was very emotional for me, all I could think of is how bad I wanted my Mom to be there, and to be a part of Anthonys life. 7. I had the best Maternity RN in the entire world, literally. I love you Nancy Larocque Ghossein!!!! 8. Anthony is our miracle baby in more ways than one.
