Eight years ago today I woke up with one of the worst hangovers of my life. Kate and I had spent the night before our wedding at Ponti celebrating our rehearsal dinner with our families and wedding party. That night ended in all kinds of debauchery including Katy Suellentrop cleaning up my vomit, Chris DeFino ending up in the bushes at SPU, and everyone in pretty bad shape. That next day was at the best day of my life. It fused our two lives together in perpetuity and was the start of our little family. Although I am not at home to celebrate with you, you are in my heart and on my mind. Since that day we have created a home together, both come a long way as people, watched you create your own business, and my coaching trajectory has taken off. The combination of the two of us has proven to be pretty formidable in the game of life, I don’t think either one of us would be where we are without the other’s support, love, help, and occasional kick in the ass. Which brings us to the two little gems that we have created. Nora and Eloise will be the torch carriers for our family in the future. They are the perfect meld of each of us in appearance, personality, temperament, and hopefully will prove to be even more impressive as people.
