Elaine Trimmell 09/12/2014 I am in Iowa for my brother Kents wedding, so Im writing this post via information from Barrys phone calls and text messages. Craig was able to put on a jersey over his head with minimal assistance today. He also was able to eat all of his meals using his hands and the special spoon that fits around his hand. He had a 2-week assessment which showed that he hasnt gained any more additional function, only an increase in the degree of function of the areas that he already had use of at the time of the initial assessment. Of course this isnt the best news, but well keep working with what we have, and find ways to adapt. Thanks for your continued thoughts and prayers. Its impossible for us to adequately express to everyone just how much all of the visits and encouraging words have been, and will continue to be to Craig, and to us as a family.
